Position: Kubernetes Architect

Location: NYC, NY Hybrid. 3 Days onsite / week-

Duration: 12-24+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable Kubernetes clusters for production environments.

Architect container-based platforms using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

Build CI/CD pipelines integrating Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.

Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Implement high availability, scalability, and security best practices.

Configure monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

Manage Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service mesh solutions like Istio or Linkerd.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize containerized workloads.

Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible.

Ensure cluster security, RBAC policies, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and administration.

Experience with containerization using Docker.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of microservices architecture and container networking.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation tools.

Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.

Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and security frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

Experience with service mesh technologies.

Knowledge of cloud-native security practices.

Experience working in enterprise-scale container platforms.
