REMOTE Job - GWT/GXT Developer

Position: GWT/GXT Developer
Location: 100% REMOTE
Type: 12+ Months Contract

Responsibilities:

 
You will upgrade to Java 8 web applications implemented using the Google Web Toolkit, this will require migration from GWT 1.7 to GWT 2.8.2 and from Sencha GXT 2.0.1 to 4.0.4 as well as the refactoring of custom components defined by MSCI.
You will afterwards help with the migration to Azure Cloud of the GWT application.
Responsibilities:
Upgrade the Data management GWT applications to Java 8
Desired Experience and Skills:
Rock-solid core Java 8 and Google Web Toolkit/Sencha GXT skills
Immaculate English
Relational database experience preferably on Oracle, PL/SQL knowledge will be an added advantage
Pragmatic, keep it simple mentality
Excellent time-management skills, ability to setup and follow through on a schedule, and work in a self-contained way
