Location : Mountain View CA (100% Onsite )

Client: Persistent Systems

 

Required Experience & Technical Skills

5+ years of professional experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Expertise in Ruby and deep understanding of the Rails framework (MVC, Active Record, etc.).

Strong proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.

Solid experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

Expertise in Git and standard version control workflows.

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).

Familiarity with deployment, caching, background job processing (e.g., Sidekiq), and system monitoring.

 

Key Responsibilities

Development & Coding:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code within the Rails framework.

implement and maintain new application features, ensuring high quality and adherence to modern best practices.

Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

Testing & Operations:

Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests (e.g., RSpec, Minitest) to ensure code robustness.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
