Java Technical Lead – WebLogic & Microservices
Work Location:
Fort Mill, SC 29715 (Onsite)

Experience Required:
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience
  • Minimum 6+ years in Java & WebLogic development
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java professional with deep expertise in WebLogic Server and modern microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on development, solution design, and performance optimization while collaborating with offshore teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Java application development and delivery
  • Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions
  • Develop applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Deploy and manage applications on WebLogic Server (12c/14c)
  • Build and consume RESTful web services
  • Perform JVM tuning and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for development and delivery
  • Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven)
  • Manage source code using Git
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Mandatory Skills
  • Strong expertise in Core Java and J2EE
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • WebLogic Server (12c / 14c)
    • Spring Framework & Spring Boot
    • RESTful APIs & Microservices architecture
  • Experience in JVM tuning and performance optimization
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Shell scripting
    • CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven)
    • Git
    • Agile methodologies
Nice to Have Skills
  • Docker (containerization)
  • AWS (cloud exposure)
