Our team is supporting Barings in Charlotte with an exciting SharePoint opportunity — one interview, three people, about an hour, scenario-based. Straightforward process.

 

What You'll Be Working On

The main focus is leading a full intranet revamp from inception to implementation. You'll be the go-to person on the project, working closely with a Product Owner based in Charlotte. This isn't a support role — you'll own it. The second project involves migrating unstructured data (documents, files, libraries) into SharePoint Online. Do well here and there are more projects lined up — this team has a strong track record of keeping good people engaged.

 

Must Haves

SharePoint Online (not on-prem), end-to-end SharePoint administration experience, and automation using PowerShell. If you can't check these three boxes, this one's not for you.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

You'll execute content migrations from legacy systems and file shares to SharePoint Online using tools like ShareGate, SPMT, or PowerShell. That includes assessing source environments, mapping metadata and permissions, and building migration strategies that minimize downtime and data loss. On the intranet side, you'll design and implement modern branding — custom themes, site templates, SPFx web parts, hub sites, and navigation — while configuring and maintaining the broader SharePoint Online environment including Power Automate workflows and M365 integrations (Teams, OneDrive, Purview).

 

What We're Looking For

5+ years in SharePoint engineering with solid migration experience, deep knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and PnP PowerShell, proficiency in migration tools, and familiarity with M365 security and compliance (Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels). Bonus if you have C#, ASP.NET Core, or SPFx development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, React).
