Location:      New York City, NY

Job Description:

 

Our Client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments and individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.

 

The role involves the engineering support of internal and external PKI systems. The candidate will work with operations teams and other customers and stakeholders.

 

 

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Provide hands on engineering support required to build and maintain internal and external PKI systems

Maintain documentation, assist customers through FAQ entries and similar

Resolve issues escalated from operations teams

 

Skills Required

Excellent problem solving skills

Strong verbal and written skills to interact with global teams and customers

Understanding of X.509, RSA and general certificate management processes

Solid experience with public key infrastructure (PKI)

Experience with certificate lifecycle management

Solid experience with Microsoft Certificate Services

Experience with commercial Certificate Authority providers

Experience authoring Certificate Polices and Certification Practice Statements (CP/CPS)

Strong proficiency in cryptography

Good understanding of secure coding techniques and IT security principals in general

 

Skills Desired

Appreciation of scalability applications development

Experience with issue tracking systems, preferably Jira

Understanding of enterprise authentication and web security

Understanding of change management processes

Ability to plan work, estimate and deliver autonomously and equally partner with other engineers and operations staff

Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
