Title : L3 / L4 Network Engineers

Work Location: Evanslake ,OH
Client Location :  Nashville, TN
Rate We having $55/hr 


We are seeking a highly experienced L3 / L4 Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex network environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
  • Provide L3 / L4 level support for complex network incidents and escalations.
  • Configure and manage Cisco wireless solutions, firewalls, and SD-WAN environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions including FortiGate firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network bottlenecks or security issues.
  • Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to maintain high availability and network reliability.
  • Perform network upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, and access controls.
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and operations teams.
🔹 Mandatory Skills
  • Strong experience with Cisco Wireless (WLC, Access Points)
  • Hands-on expertise in Cisco Firewalls
  • Experience implementing and managing SD-WAN solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet / FortiGate firewall technologies
  • Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for enterprise network environments
🔹 Good to Have
  • Experience or exposure to cloud networking in AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of network automation or scripting
  • Experience with hybrid cloud network connectivity
🔹 Experience
  • 12+ years of hands-on networking experience
