SAP S/4HANA PPDS Consultant

Location – Remote

 

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA PPDS Consultant to support implementation, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solutions. The consultant will work with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, integrated planning solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

This role is suitable for an independent contributor who is comfortable working in multi vendor, global delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

•            Implement, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA PPDS solutions

•            Configure and support Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) processes in SAP S/4HANA

•            Work with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing and production planning requirements

•            Translate business needs into functional SAP PPDS configurations and solutions

•            Configure core PPDS functions including:

o            Production planning

o            Capacity planning

o            Detailed scheduling

•            Ensure integration of PPDS with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM

•            Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation

•            Support SIT, UAT, and go live activities

•            Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide production support

•            Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to end users and support teams

•            Collaborate effectively with cross functional and global teams

Required Experience & Skills

•            6+ years overall experience in SAP PP / QM

•            2+ years hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA PPDS

•            Prior experience supporting or implementing SAP PPDS projects

•            Experience migrating legacy planning tools or SAP APO PP/DS to S/4HANA

•            Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes

•            Good analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

•            Strong written and verbal communication skills

•            Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
