Tech Scum Lead / Project Manager 

• Location: Hybrid in Hartford, CT (locals)
• Citizenship: GC/USC Preferred
• Duration: ASAP Start (6+ month contract + extensions)

Need Agile Technical Lead who has experience Delivering projects in a Google Cloud environment. 

Role Summary:

• We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead with deep technical expertise and delivery experience to lead a complex data migration initiative from Teradata or Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This person will drive execution across Agile teams, ensure high-quality delivery, and stay hands-on in technical discussions across architecture, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• This is not a traditional Scrum Master role — we want someone who can lead from the front, challenge engineers, and navigate enterprise data transformation efforts with confidence and clarity.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own technical delivery across multiple Agile teams working on GCP-based applications and platforms and leading end-to-end data migration efforts from Teradata or Azure to GCP.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retros, reviews), but with a strong focus on technical outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product owners to turn business requirements into well-executed technical solutions.
• Get into the weeds — understand code, architecture, DevOps, and cloud pipelines. You’ll know when a team is blocked or veering off track.
• Drive delivery velocity while ensuring strong engineering discipline, testability, and maintainability.
• Act as the glue between business and engineering, using your coding background and delivery experience to bridge the gap.

Must-Have:

• Former software engineer (ideally Python, Java, or Node.js) with real-world coding experience.
• Proven delivery management or tech lead experience in Agile/iterative environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and engineering practices — GCP experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead technical conversations and push back when necessary — you're not afraid to ask the hard questions.
• Skilled in identifying roadblocks, coaching teams, and aligning stakeholders without getting bogged down in process.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-native architectures.
• Exposure to enterprise GCP transformations, data platforms, or modern app modernization efforts.
• Certifications (Scrum, GCP) are nice, but not required — we care more about your hands-on experience and technical leadership.
