🚀 Hiring: Senior Mainframe Analyst (CoolGen Expert)

📍 Location: Madison, Wisconsin, United States

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Analyst with deep expertise in CoolGen and legacy mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with COBOL-based systems, and the ability to support modernization initiatives through reverse engineering, impact analysis, and detailed documentation.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Analyze and support mainframe applications developed using CoolGen
✅ Perform reverse engineering and document existing business rules and system functionality
✅ Conduct impact analysis for application enhancements, migrations, and modernization initiatives
✅ Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
✅ Analyze legacy application architecture, batch processing flows, and system dependencies
✅ Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and analysis artifacts
✅ Support mainframe re-platforming, re-engineering, and modernization programs

🔹 Required Skills:
✔ Strong experience with CoolGen (CA Gen) applications
✔ Hands-on expertise in Mainframe technologies – COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
✔ Strong knowledge of legacy system architecture and batch processing
✔ Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and functional documentation
✔ Ability to perform impact analysis, reverse engineering, and system documentation
✔ Experience working on mainframe modernization, migration, or transformation initiatives
✔ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
