Junior Software engineer – Rich Media Solutions Team

Job description
Adobe is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Rich Media
Solutions team. You will contribute to the development of new client
technologies that make it easy to deliver, measure and protect video
content online using the Flash Platform. This is a pre-1.0 new
project that will require someone with a passion for web technologies
(ideally for video on the web).
On this job, you will:
-transform the requirements into feature specifications
-contribute to the design and implementation of new features
-design and implement new features, APIs, unit test suites
-work closely with Quality Engineers, to ensure that the product meets
the required top quality standards
-interact with product management, team leads and customers to refine
feature requirements
-be part of an agile, highly collaborative and passionate team working
on new products development
-research on various technologies useful for the project and keep in
touch with the evolution of the video distribution market
-enhance your technical and team working skills
Previous experience
For this job we are searching for people with:
-Strong CS background, very strong algorithm and logical skills
-2+ years of industry experience
-Knowledge of at least one high-level computer programming language
(Java, C/C++ or C#; Python, Ruby & other dynamic languages are a
bonus)
-Knowledgeable about Object Oriented Design
-Knowledgeable about developing Internet Applications (ideally Rich
Internet Applications) and internet standards
-Good understanding of development process & best practices
-Experience with Flash ActionScript application development is a plus
-Problem solving skills, ability to dive deep to find the root of the
problem
-Ability to research and become proficient in new technologies and
willing to learn Adobe technologies - Flash Platform (ActionScript,
Flash, AIR)
-Passionate about computer science, developing software & internet
applications
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Good English language knowledge, written and spoken
