I'm hoping to answer people's questions about this specific group so
I'm going to start this thread for general information. If anyone has
any questions, post to the thread and I will do my best to answer them.
The "about" link lists a little bit of what you can expect when you
attend one of our meetings.

If I don't have an answer for your question, chances are we just
haven't encountered the situation yet...generally we will form
"policies" or "rules" if/when we have to. Right now, the only real
"rules" we have is that everyone have a good time and hopefully show up
with something to contribute, whether it's help, friendliness, potluck
munchies, encouragement, teaching, or a thirst to learn. We're casual
and at different stages of our knitting/crocheting skills around here,
so don't be afraid to look silly. I do it all the time and it hasn't
killed me yet. :-)
It's a courtesy to organizers to RSVP to events, so I know how much
stuff to bring, chairs to put out, etc. I will do my part and be active
on these boards instead of spamming you to death with email, so be sure
to check the boards every so often to see if your question has been
addressed, the event/venue has changed, teaching topics, etc. Feel free
to start your own threads as well - I'm sure there are topics I've not
considered and the other members seem to be a great resource for
knowledge and plain silliness.
Meetup days/times:
So far, we are OFFICIALLY meeting on ONLY 2 days of the month - the 3rd
Monday and the last (usually 4th) Wednesday of the months will be
scheduled. The 3rd Monday will be at Fiber Naturell at 7 pm, and the
4th Wednesday will be at the Sycamore Library in Blue Ash at 6:45-ish
(as long as it is available - we haven't figured out an alternative
place if they are having an event, so keep posted here for updates.)
Any other meetings we decide to have are spontaneous in nature and are
welcome, just ask me to schedule them and I will be more than happy to
put them on the board. People like each other's company and have
decided to meet up more often on their own, so that's great!
This is YOUR group, I'm just a coordinator. Let me know what you want
or need to grow and function better. I'll do the best I can to help out
and if I can't, I'll try to find someone that can.
