Hi All,

 

Really sorry I could not update you on February Charity, as I was on paternity leave.

 

The charity amount was given to a child in my native place who is suffering from cancer.

( Address: Namdiaradukkam, Ravaneshwaram, Bekal Fort (via), Kasaragod - 671316 )

 

Currently child has been admitted in Calicut medical college and undergoing treatment over there. !

      First time itself we clearly mentioned that this is not a charity group and very much personal and optional within our close friends group. People can anytime join or withdraw, anytime put money or not. there is nothing good or bad thing on that...its completely on your personal view line. So please dont force any one or add anyone forcefully or dont add anyone whom you dont know personally well.

Hi friends;

  Forgot to update you on the last month details. The amount we got last month has given to T.K . Chandran , Kodakkad. who is under treatment for cancer. 

I have got amount from Prabhu this month. Please let us know if you know any one who is looking for help. Its always good to come up with some beneficiary names. if more names we can either split or plan for next months.

It’s been a while the activities are in hibernation . It not because we stopped or forgot that but some suggestion came to do something different than the way we do. The suggestion is to take care of a girl child like giving the amount to a particular girl from some orphanage . It did not work well as there are some difficulties . First thing is it will be more like a forced commitment and we know we are not doing this in an organized way. So finally decided to continue in the same fashion . So we are restarting the activities again. Please do suggest beneficiaries and its always welcome . I have already some amount with me sent by sumesh , prabhu and sreejith by last some months. I have one beneficiary name with me from my hometown. I think we can share with two this time as I have some pending amount with me already. Please put your comments /feedbacks/suggestions and all here.. It is good to share our views/disagreement/criticism over Facebook/twitter and other social media . But it’s always a better feel if we share our feel with our co-beings and spend some time with them who are struggling in their life. Its more about the thought to give. So we are keep on going with that thoughts. And will do whatever small  help we can do.  Wishing you all a (belated) happy friendship day .

      The amount with me up to last month has given to Indira P K, from puthur near karivellur who is suffering from some unknown disease and the family is so poor to bear the huge amount for treatment. We have given our small help to her and praying for speedy recovery and for her good health

Hi all,

       One of Sinchu's friend met with an accident (a hotel employee) and needed an urgent surgery. His hands are amputated after the accident and they were seeking help as they are from a very poor family. Already given some amount to the person as it will be really helpful if they get some money at the time of surgery. Praying for his good health...

      Sorry for the delayed mail. This month charity amount is given to the beneficiary before collecting the amount. Sumesh has given the amount as it was kind of urgent. So you can send your help either to Sumesh or to me. Sumesh can share the details of the beneficiary.

Its sad that we got the news that Indira from Puthur whom we gave our help, passed away last week. We can only give some small help and let other things to prayers..Praying for her family to get strength to handle this tough situation

Sharanya Nair, 22 year old student is my niece and currently in Chennai undergoing medical treatment for kidney failure from Madras Medical Mission Hospital. She had undergone a Kidney transplant in 2006. The transplanted graft has since been rejected and she is advised to go through another transplant. This will cost her mother about Rs 10-15 lakhs. The monthly cost of her medication is around Rs. 20000 per month. And she requires at least 2 dialyses done every month, which costs her another Rs 3400 per week. Her father passed away about 6 years ago immediately after her first kidney transplant.

 

Sharanya is like every other girl of her age...energetic, raring to go, cheerful. She's involved in her studies, hangs out with friends, is figuring out her career after studies, enjoys life, does all the usual things a girl her age would do.

 

Its touching to see her go through all this as bravely and cheerfully as she does, and I am reaching out to all of you to seek support her. Her mother does not have the resources to pay for her kidney transplant which is so critically required. I hope you can understand and support in some small way. Any contribution from you, doesn’t matter small or big, is welcome and will go a long way in saving Sharanya.
