Discussion group presentation and dynamics

Dear all,

Welcome to the Conceptual Spaces Discussion Group. The main motivation
behind the creation of this mailing list is to create a communication
channel for the community working on Conceptual Spaces. It is intended
to serve as a forum for researchers, students and practitioners to
exchange ideas and experiences about CS and related topics.

Regarding the dynamics of this group:

- Anyone can submit topics for discussion, questions, suggestions and
related announcements (conferences, workshops, etc). I will try to
propose some topics in the oncoming days, but everyone is free to do so
as well.

- Google Groups provide two different views on the group: mailing list
and web forum. My initial intend was to have a mailing list, however
Google Groups website also provides a "forum-like" view. In Google
Groups page, you can configure how you receive emails of this group. You
can chose not to receive any emails at all, relying only on Google
Groups forum interface. The choice is yours.

- Feel free to invite other people to the list.

- Currently I am the only manager of the group. It will be nice to share
the role with at least one more person.
