Hi

I have enabled authentication for my rtmp server.
It works fine with FMLE.

But now, I would also like to stream using ffmpeg.
The problem is that I cannot pass authentication.

When I try: ffmpeg -re -i file -f flv rtmp://user:pa...@server.com/live/stream1
I got Problem accessing the DNS. (addr: testuser1)

Anybody know how to stream using ffmpeg (or rtmpdump) with adobe authentication?

Hi.

You can try FMLE-Authentication.  This can be done by an appendix to your streamurl. This is my FFMPEG-Command for stream a flv-Video to crtmpserver:

ffmpeg -video_size 720x576 -framerate 25 -f dshow -i  video="Decklink Video Capture":audio="Decklink Audio Capture" -acodec libvo_aacenc -vcodec libx264 -b:v 512000 -threads 4 -r 24 -f flv "rtmp://1.2.3.4/flvplayback flashver=FMLE/3.0\20(compatible;\20FMSc/1.0) live=true pubUser=broadcast pubPasswd=vbrick"

At the end you can see:

-f flv "rtmp://1.2.3.4/flvplayback
" -> the flashstream,
flashver=FMLE/3.0\20(compatible;\20FMSc/1.0) live=true pubUser=user pubPasswd=password  ->  the authentication

Don't forget the quotes at the begin and the end of your url.

Hope this will help.
