The inteface library...

I have one problem....................
i looking for some interface desiging library's............
As for window os it is easy to go for MFC/Win API( as with .net
stuff ....)
but i like to work with tech................that support linux as well
( i currently work with ununtu linux)
there as some choice such as gtk, qt, wxwidgets
atc......................
i am not able to understand what to do................
i am very much interested in doing some interface
job...................

i am use GNU GCC compiler collection...............


Can you people give me some suggestion...........

You mean User Interface ... more specifically Graphical User Interface
(GUI). The word Interface has a very different meaning.

Hmmm ... ununtu is a very cute name.

All of these are good choices. But in particular wxWidgets and Qt are
both quite good. Pick up wxWidgets (or even Qt).

Hello..............that ununtu is name given by one of my friends by
speaking throught his nose......ha ha .......

while i disscuss this thing with some of my friends......they urge for
gtk( gtk+-, gtkmm as that they said) . The point they raise is
portbilty and my Ubuntu( ununtu) desktop provide me much package
support to develop in gtk........

while because i still new to this interface............... I EXPECT TO
WORK WITH A LIABRARY WHICH LET ME EASILY PORT MY SELF TO OTHER
INTERFACE LIBRARIES.............like LANGUAGE C/BASIC for other
programming languges..


Any suggestion dear friends.............

i don't know much about ur problem but i am working with 'cygwin'
which can be installed in windows OS to support Linux scripts.

............It is portable accross many operating systems.............
