London Flight Update and Trip Information
Hello Travelers!
The tickets to London next July for the passengers traveling with the RVCC have been purchased! Here is the flight information for those of you that are companion travelers and would like to be on the flight with us.
United Airlines Flight 924 out of Dulles International Airport on July 9th leaving at 10:20 p.m., arriving at London Heathrow at 10:40 am on July 10th.
Return flight is United Airlines Flight 919 out of London Heathrow on July 17th leaving at 12:15 p.m., arriving Dulles at 3:35 p.m.
For those of you that are companion travelers, please purchase your tickets as soon as you can to make sure you can either be on the flight with us or on a flight that gets in very close to the same time and leaves to fly back around the same time. The travel company would like to pick us up and drop us off at the airport as one big group if possible.
For those of you that indicated you will be flying round trip with us, the cost of the flight was unfortunately more than we budgeted for in our initial budget. We looked at many different options to try and get the cost lower, but group travel is more expensive than personal travel and this was the best we could do. We will need an additional $125 per person to cover the cost of the flight. Here is how we would like to take care of this additional cost:
v If you paid for the trip in full, please remit an additional $125 by March 15th.
v If you are on the monthly payment plan, please add $25 to each monthly payment, for a total of $350 each month for the months of November – March.
The black payment box will be at choir rehearsal on Monday to collect the November monthly payments.
For those of you that indicated you were only traveling one way with the RVCC, the cost of your trip will be reduced by $600 to $3200 and your new monthly payment amount is $225 for the remaining months. If you paid in full, you will receive a refund. If you have paid ahead then check with me to see what your new monthly payment will be.
A reminder that the passport check is March 10th - please plan accordingly.
VERY IMPORTANT: I need everyone that is traveling either round trip or one way with us to email me (michell...@childrenschoir.com) your name as it appears (or will appear) on your passport, including middle initial if it’s on there, as well as your birthdate as soon as possible.
