Keeping Google "Googley"
Jared,
The high speed pitch is meant to be more open-ended than other deliverables for this course (the idea is that you've matured in your ability to analyze cases and propose solutions, so we give you more leeway). Obviously, there are criteria we are evaluating (see Learning Suite), but your purpose it to present solutions/ideas to Google (the visiting consultant) based on your analysis of the case. Don!
't get
too caught up in providing background information/details--you can assume Google knows what their key issues are. I suggest you focus more on solutions and recommendations.
To be "Googley" simply means to focus on the unique culture at Google. The key challenge is how to retain this "Googleyness" while focusing on growth, internationalization, etc.
I'll talk a little more about the high speed pitch tonight in class. We can discuss your questions in more depth.
John
