Somehow the appointment for today's call was not on my calendar, and as a result I completely forgot about it.  I apologize for missing the discussion today.

What did I miss?

We had Jared, Thaylene and I on the call.

We started talking about what does it mean for a company to be "Googley", and a bit about what direction(s) we could take with the case.  Jared sent an email to the professors to see if we could get any more direction on which way we should go with this, and Thaylene talked through notes and shared a bunch of good resources.

Jared got pulled out for other things, and afterwards we had two minutes (because he had entered in the leader code).  Thaylene and I talked briefly about focusing on managements role in innovation and how they might encourage "Googley"-ness without becoming stifling.  We probably all need to spend some time thinking about ideas on where this presentation can go and then pitch them to eachother to get a better idea where to go with this next.

Jared Call

I realized about 2 hours later that I'd probably cut you off by hanging up -- I could have just set my phone down, I suppose.  Then again, you could have called back with the leader code too.  :)

Thaylene put some helpful articles out in the project folder in Dropbox as well.  I've read part of it and expect to read the rest today/tonight.

I apologize that I had to run.  2 issues came up suddenly, one of which was that we had the air conditioning stop working in our main server room.  Servers don't like 90 degree weather where they're trying to stay cool. :(
