Hello All,

 

I received the following email for the club.  Although I don’t think they are looking for Amateur Radio operators for the event, I believe they are just looking for volunteers:

 

 

 

To whom it may concern:

 

My name is Carolina, and I am a student at BYU and an intern for Provo City Events.

 

Our Pioneer Day Extravaganza next month needs 100 more volunteers than we currently have in order to run smoothly. Would be willing to send out the following information to the BYU Amateur Radio Club members?

 

We need volunteers to help run games and activities for the Provo community on Pioneer Day, July 24th. There are two shifts for volunteers, one from 8:00am to 12:00pm (noon) and the other from 11:30am to 3:30pm. The event will be held at North Park (500 N 500 W, Provo, UT). Volunteers need to attend a one hour training at 7pm on July 10th or July 16th (not both).
