Thormail on Cobra

I put the Thormial01.jar file on cobra at /opt/thormail. To run it
supposedly all I have to do is type the following from the promt, but I
get some errors about String classes not found. So I figure that there
is classpath environment variable problem. So if someone wants to look
at it, go right ahead

java -jar Thormail01.jar mail.checkettsweb.com pop3 martinsonj th0rss

I narrowed down the problem to the environment PATH is referencing the
gnu java and not the real java, although it is installed.

The real java is located at /opt/SUNWappserver/jdk/bin

The problem I am having is trying to figure out where to set the PATH
variable. Any suggestions or fixes would be a help
