There is one comment that requires response, "Currently, the average
in the class is somewhere around 55%, and that's the highest it's been
all semester. This doesn't bother him because there are still extra
credit assignments. But if we can't do the regular assignments, why
would he think we can do the extra hard ones? I assume he has some
plan to stop half the class from failing. If not, I expect
administration to step in, because a fail rate that high is clearly
the fault of the instructor and not the students."
However, as you can see from the site: the average was 71% and median
80%. The full break-down of scores was:
F: 3
C: 3
B: 2
A: 4
Of those who failed, 2 did basically no work after the start of
November. I consider this a very reasonable fail rate. Everyone else:
Good job.
