Jay,

I'd like to request a extension on the wtype paper. We've been working hard on Typei and now we have wtype due in another 24 hours. For some of us, we just can't find the time to write a quality paper with so much on our plates and such little time after a major assignment. If we could have it due on Friday, that would be very helpful.

Thanks!

I think this is one of the most interesting aspects of your teaching style.

Thanks for the extension. :) I was thinking about requesting one myself.

"This" being responding to your requests or having lots of assignments?

I try to have every topic covered in two ways... with code and with
writing. It's natural to make them due back to back. I assume that
most people will work on a balance of the two and they will reinforce
each other, but I gather that most people just work on them in serial
:)
