iOS Mapping

Anyone have experience doing route mapping between 2 points without leaving the application to go to the maps app?

I'm currently looking at using Google maps with a Google route overlay.

What have you used, what are things I should be aware of/careful of/concerned with?

  Keep in mind that google maps may take backseat to Apple's own implementation in iOS6:
