Hi,

I want to post Perl/Python code inside a byteflow blog.
How do I make it so that it'll be highlighted ?

Thanks

So basically I'm interested in syntax highlighting for a particular
programming language , does byteflow offer that ?

Hi Stefan,

yes, byteflow uses highlight.js (

highlight.js works fine on blog posts, but I can't seem to get it
going in the comments section. Any pointers on how to implement it
here too?

Hi yuri,

What theme are you using? One included with byteflow, or one you have created?

Hi Steve,

Please take a look at theme and code in comments:
http://buriy.com/2009/08/30/reraise-python-exceptions/#comments
This theme was introduced in byteflow by me, cloned from theme of
PHP's Nucleus blog engine.

If you have <code> written in comments, highlight.js will highlight it.
If user wrote some code in markdown, the code will have <code>some code</code>.
I tweaked some things in my byteflow version, but I don't remember I
tweaked comments rendering... :\

Yuri,

Thanks for the pointers. I've noticed that (using the buriy theme as
ships with bytemark):

1) Main site DO NOT show highlighting (see http://blog.sheepeatingtaz.co.uk/)
2) Individual posts pages DO show highlighting (see
http://blog.sheepeatingtaz.co.uk/2009/10/08/mysql-help/)
3) Comments DO NOT (see
http://blog.sheepeatingtaz.co.uk/2009/10/08/mysql-help/#comments)

Depending on how well my baby sleeps today, I will try to take a look
at the theme and see where the files differ.

I've found and changed the relevant parts of my installation - there's
a few places where I've changed things. Shall I create patches for
them and join the byteflow-developers list (I'd like to do this
anyway, but am still learning Django!)
