Can you put more description on the fourth point?
4, Try not to use node_id as override condition.
I am not sure it is clear enough for everyone:
1) override the class to a specific template, for example, <(design_name)/override/templates/full/class.tpl>, create a folder <class> under the <(design_name)/templates> to store the speciafic node template. and then, you can include the template stored in the <(design_name)/templates/class> by doing judgement in the <(design_name)/override/templates/full/class.tpl>.
