Keep an eye on political signs on your property. Apparently someone
was worried enough to steal the competitions’ signs. At least 10 Paul
Curtman signs were stolen this afternoon out of supporter’s yards
throughout Lake Montowese. This speaks volumes about letting your
credentials speak for themselves, and shows how low some politicians
must go to win an election.

If any one has witnessed this trespassing and petty theft, please
report it to authorities.

Look for those election signs to reappear around the neighborhood, totally painted WHITE with the addition of Yard Sale Information.  It happens all the time.  The nice semi-plastic foam. corrugated signs easily slip off the metal frame and both parts can be used over and over again.  Like it was said before, it is just those "loose immature cannons" aka idiots who do this so they don't have to pay for a sign.  Junior Thieves, Crooks or whatever you want to call them.

Oh one more thing if it is trespassing and petty theft why are your "good ole boys" doing anything about it?????  Isn't that why you have your own police force???

Seems you spoke a bit too soon.  But coming from the good Alderman that donated at least $200 to Mr. Curtman's campaign I would expect you to assume it was his competition that stole the signs.  Signs are missing every where and it isn't just Curtman's.  It is a same that this happens but it does and to assume it was his competition is quite sad on your part, or are you just upset that your money is now missing.  Think next time before you speak.

My signs were stolen too and it was reported to the police.
Unfortunatlely the thief did it under the cover of darkness ( which I
would expect from a coward). If found I will prosecute. I do suspect
the competetors supporters. The Frame signs on the houses next door
were left. This is not the first time this has happened to me and I
will not tolerate it again. And when was it a crime to contribute to a
campaign.

Mine was stolen out of my front yard a week or so ago. I am not happy! I wouldn't put it past the Frame people to be behind it!

I never said it was a crime to contribute to any campaign, I believe that was your thought. To assume is to make a fool out of yourself and no one else, so keep assuming.  I know three to four other politicians that are missing signs as well, did State Rep. Frame takes those too!!!!  He has run a clean campaign, no bashing, or slandering his opponent, this is the kind of person we need back in office.

Why even bring up Jim's contributions to him anyway? Your tone makes
it sound like it's wrong. Frame may not take the signs or bash,
however, I would, by your example believe so!

I stated facts.  You and Mr. McBroom made assumptions, there is a big difference between facts and assumptions.  And how to you assess tone in email?  I can't.  Difference here is your assumptions are most likely not true although you want people to believe it just because you typed it.  As I stated before numerous signs are missing all over the county from many different political parties, to assume it is the opposition is nothing more than an assumption on your part (no facts here).  If you are so angry do something about it rather that complain and assume.  I can type all sort of bad things and things that I assume but it will only make a fool out of me if I do.  That is why I like to be factual.
Have a great day.

At least I have friends, with your attitude and comments you only have signs to worry about.  I pity you.  I'll take my friends and family any day over you pitiful sign fetish.  Have a wonderful day.

Terry, is there a way to block the posts such as the ones that are not appropriate for the original intent of this forum? I really lime keeping up on things here when i am away from home but i must say it has truly got out of hand these past few weeks. I agree that people are entitled to their opinion but alot of it has been just ridiculous. Thank you in advance

Totally concur and will not even respond in a business like manner,
which I have tried to do, to this issue further. I will, however,
contact the person that can effect removal and ask that it be done.
