Annual City Clean-Up

The City will be holding its annual clean-up on April 30th. This is an
opportunity to get rid of items your trash service won’t pick up. You
must have a tag in order for items to be picked up. Tags are available
at City Hall. The cost is $25 for a Pick-Up truck load if a tag is
purchased prior to April 30th, $30 if purchased on the day of the
clean-up. White items (appliances) only require a $2 tag per item.
Tires are $3 each if the tags are purchased prior to clean-up day and
$5 if purchased on the day of.

Sorry, no TV’s, computers, monitors, paint, oil or any other hazardous
materials.

We will start picking up at 8:00 AM. Please place items close to the
road. If you are going to deliver your items to the Recycling Center
please do so before 1:00 PM .

To make the job easier, we could use volunteers with pick-up trucks
and/or trailers. If you want some exercise you can come down and help
out with unloading the items and sorting them for recycling. Food will
be provided for all who help.
