2009 BYRL Youth Athletic Conditioning Program
Especially designed for wrestlers, football players, weight
lifters, or other
physical athletes.
PURPOSE: To prepare and keep young athletes ready to compete
and to develope and/or introduce physical competitive sports to future
athletes.
WHO: Youth Ages 6-12
WHERE: Bunn Elementary School Ball field.
WHEN: Every Wednesday 6pm until 8pm, May 13 thru June 24
COST: Absolutely Free! Each child must be registered and accident
waiver signed.
WHAT:This program includes:
Physical Training and Conditioning.
Agility and Speed Drills.
Competitive Thinking and Mental Awareness.
Nutrition or how and what to eat.
Intro to Football, Wrestling, and Weightlifting & how these sports
relate.
Confidence Building and Conquering Fear.
How to Create Success.
and Plenty of: GAMES, COMPETITIONS, and RACES!
Each Child that attends five of the eight classes receives a Free T-
Shirt and
Certificate!
SCHEDULE:
Day 1. Physical Conditioning & Competitive Thinking.
Day 2. Upper Body Work-out & Nutrition
Day 3. Lower Body Work-out & Desire / Attitude
Day 4. Football Fundamentals & Expectations: Hustle
Day 5. Intro to Wrestling & Recognizing and Controlling Fear
Day 6. Speed Training & Confidence Routines and Keys
Day 7. Basic Intro to Weight Lifting/Strength Training & Creating
the Future
Day 8. Agility Drills & Reaching the Dream plus THE PARTY!
