You need scripting of some type to process forms. Do you know what type of
scripting your host does provide? Do they support 'FormMail' ? Is there
anything on your control panel?

If they don't support the PFSE or asp, chances are it's a Unix host which
may offer php.

When I get this as a CSS validation error what exactly does it mean?

Does it not like the colour?

a:link Value Error : background Too many values or values are not
recognized : D1CED9

My guess is that you forgot the '#':

a:link { background: #D1CED9; }

Yes, new members' posts have to be approved by the group owners. After
we indicate to Google Groups that your first few posts were perfectly
safe, you will not be moderated any longer. It helps Google Groups,
and us, crack down on automated registrations and spamming, a problem
that's been happening a lot lately.
