Who is planning on attending and possibly helping with tomorrow's event?

I need to get a table for our stuff; I will see if I can use Bike Zoo's table.

We need someone to be at Bearden Beer Market around 11:30-2:30 to represent BWK for donations, memberships, etc.

I am planning to be at Earth Fare at 8 to set up BWK table and stay until noon, than walk the 5K course and get to BBM by 2pm. It would be great if someone else could help at Earth Fare about 10-12.

Amy's plans are copied below from her email a few days ago.

Jim, are you planning on participating? It would be good to get the other banner to BBM.

I have the square card for credit card transactions.

We need to be visible to promote BWK. The Wanderers are going to promote their club and activities which is good for them.

The weather may be good for a brisk walk.

Good Evening Folks,

I believe we are all set for this weekend.  Difficult to say what the turn-out is going to be, but I'm hoping for some new faces based on the publicity in the Knox News Sentinel and the Metro Pulse last week. 

I spoke with Margaret at Earth Fare this afternoon, and the plan is for set up to be in the back corner of the parking lot beside the Greenway.  David Bonewitz, president of the Wanderers will be arriving around 7:30am to begin setting up.  I will join him at some point.  I will be meeting Brad Hatcher at Toddy's at 10:30 to start grilling hot dogs, and there will be a mid-way point check in and water station set up in the parking lot as well. 

Margaret will be bringing the first run of pizza to the Beer Market at noon, and a second round at 2.  If we need more she will take care of it! 

Additionally- last weekend there was a hit and run accident involving two pedestrians in Rocky Hill.  One of the victims has some fairly serious injuries to his face.  I told his cousin, who was with him at the time of the accident, that we would walk in honor of these victims, and he expressed his wish that we do so.

I can help for part of the day, morning works better for me, but if we don’t have anyone who can help in the afternoon, I can adjust my schedule to make that work.

 

Do we need someone at Earthfare form 10-12?  Isn’t everyone going to be gone by then? Or is this just to reach out to general greenway users?

The Wanderers event info says registration from 9-12 and the walk goes until 4pm. So, I thought we should stay at Earth Fare until noon then move on over to BBM. I don't think we need to stay there until 4 unless somone is interested in doing that. I thought I would get there around 2 and eat pizza, help out with BWK, and leave around 3.While we are at Earth Fare we certainly can reach out to the other greenway users.
