BWK meeting?

what's going on with the meeting? are we having one this week? if so where? i need to send out an announcement.

I have the upstairs table at the Bistro reserved from 5:30-7pm.

 

There was some talk that maybe we need to have just a ‘core” group meeting to work on the grant application instead of the general membership meeting, but since we spread the word yesterday at the C4C about having a meeting tomorrow night, there’s a good chance some new peps may show up.  So I suggest having a short general membership meeting, then work on the grant application after.

i will not send the invitation. if any new people show up, they will be a part of the application writing process. or some core members can talk to the new people while others work on the application.

does that work?

So, just to make sure we’re on the same page, we are meeting at the bistro tomorrow to work on the application and we are not advertising a meeting.

 

If we want to meet somewhere else, let me know and I’ll call the bistro to cancel

 

I’ll post on FB that the meeting is cancelled due to working on a grant app

I can't get to the meeting until 6 due to work schedule but everyone else can start working on the document.  I think it looks pretty darn good.

Suggestion - let's use www.bikewalkknox.org as our official url. We have 5 domain names that will get us to the website but I think we should use the one that spells out who we are while still being somewhat short and easy to remember.

Yes, we're changing Local Bicycle Clubs to "Local Organizations" - BWK's listing will read:

Bike Walk Knoxville  www.bikewalkknox.org

BWK is a dedicated, regional voice for bicycle and pedestrian advocacy.

Also www.bikewalkknox.org is on the newest printing of the rack cards.
