Bio and Personal Statement

Congratulations to all for Sunday! It was so moving to see the kids up there sharing with the community and shining in their unique ways. And now on to the bios and personal statements.

Bios: I've gotten first drafts from almost everyone and sent notes back to most. I'll send a status update to all shortly. Final drafts are due by this Sunday, 5/12.

Personal statements: We talked about this in class last week, and as I shared at the parent meeting, we've got a tight timeline on this. Attached are guidelines, suggestions for how to start and due dates. 

I'd like all students to bring a rough (or rough-rough) draft to Shule on the 19th. We'll be reviewing and working on these in class together. Then by Wednesday the 22nd they should email a fuller/improved draft. I'll send feedback and the second draft will be due to me on Sat, June 1st. Final statements will be due on the 4th at rehearsal, where we'll be practicing them together.
