Congratulations, Dr. Arnold Mwanza!

Dear Bwalo,

Some great news to share. Our friend and colleague, Dr Arnold Mwanza, has completed his PhD studies at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. The commencement was yesterday. His doctoral thesis is titled "Assuring the quality of mentoring in Malawi's 1+1 Initial Primary Teacher Education programme: Implications for Teacher Development."

The thesis will be on the universite website soon. I hope he will share the link when it's up so we can drink from this new well.

p/s I also just learned that another of our friends and colleague, ZIkani Kaunda, just defended his PhD this week at the University of Minnesota in the US. The commencement was also yesterday I think, in Minneapolis. I will share the title and abstract of his dissertation once I get them.
