University, China. Recently, I am studying on Malawian English
literature, which aims to publicize the best part of Malawian
literature and culture to Chinese people (especially Chinese students
and teachers who are learning foreign literature) and strengthen
people’s understanding of African English literature and culture as
well as enhancing the mutual understanding.

In China, people know little about Africa’s excellent literature and
culture. Thus I think what I do is very important. My program is a
branch of the study of “The History of African English Literature”,
which is a National Program funded in China. I am responsible for the
