Dear Partners,
Since 1967, UNESCO International Literacy Prizes have rewarded excellence and innovation in the field of literacy. Over 485 projects and programmes undertaken by governments, non-governmental organizations and individuals around the world have been recognized. Through these prestigious Prizes, UNESCO seeks to support effective literacy practices and encourages the promotion of dynamic literate societies.
In this context, you will find attached the call to nominate candidates for the 2018 edition of the UNESCO International Literacy Prizes, inviting you to submit nominations for this year (see attached documents).
Every year, the prizes are organized around a specific theme. This year’s focus is on: ‘Literacy and Skills Development’.
The nomination process will take place via an online platform. An applicant can access the online application form by requesting the creation of a user account through this link: www.unesco.org/ilp/account. The deadline for nominations is Sunday 17 June 2018.

Depuis 1967, les Prix internationaux d’alphabétisation de l’UNESCO ont récompensé l’excellence et l’innovation dans le domaine de l’alphabétisation. Plus de 485 projets et programmes menés par des gouvernements et des organisations non gouvernementales dans le monde entier ont été reconnus. Par ces Prix prestigieux, l’UNESCO entend soutenir des pratiques d’alphabétisation efficaces et encourager le développement de sociétés alphabétisées dynamiques.
Dans ce contexte, vous trouverez ci-joint l’appel à candidature pour l’édition 2018 des Prix internationaux d’alphabétisation de l’UNESCO, vous invitant à soumettre des candidatures aux Prix de cette année (cf. documents ci-joints).
Chaque année, les Prix sont organisés autour d’un thème spécifique. Le thème de cette année est « L’alphabétisation et le développement des compétences ».
Le processus de nomination se déroulera via une plateforme en ligne. Un candidat peut accéder au formulaire de candidature en ligne en demandant la création d'un compte utilisateur via lien suivant : www.unesco.org/ilp/account. La date limite pour l’envoi des candidatures est le dimanche 17 juin 2018.
