Mrs. Jordan talked about the PSAT: sign up with Mrs. Ott starting
Monday, Sept. 28 through Oct 9th.
Next Wednesday and Thursday are Parent Teacher conferences; Thursday
is college info night.
DURING CLASS:
Mr. Broschart handed out a paper on Rhetoric (specifically
"arrangement); we read it. We read pgs. xlvi and xlvii in the Norton
Reader on defining and describing. We read and annotated "Postcards"
in the Norton Reader (pg. 537).
HOMEWORK!
Read and annotate "Good Readers and Good Writers" By Nabokov (pg.
1032)
Read and annotate "Mommy, What Does 'Nigger' Mean?" By Naylor (pg.
510)
