कुर्वति in वाक्यपदीयम्

Respected Scholars,

My salutations to you all.

I wanted your help to understand use of कुर्वति in general. I found its usage in 

 in वाक्यपदीयम् as captured in below print screen. It must be used elsewhere also. 

Usage of कुर्वति does not appear common. Hence wanted to understand about it from experts.

This is saptami vibhakti of कुर्वन्/कुर्वत् made via कृ + शतृ.

Mr. Pradeep Phutane,

It is not uncommon. The शतृ suffix has been added to the root डुकृञ्  which is उभयपदी। The शतृ suffix is added when root is treated as परस्मैपदी. When it is आत्मनेपदी, शानच् is added. With शतृ suffix,the form कुर्वति is in the locative singular.
