Sir,

In the Baudhayana Grihya Sutram describing preparation for Darvi homa it has been stated

"Pavithrakaranam prokshanisamskaram praneetha pranayanam sruksammarjanamithi

Darsapoornamasavathhoshneem"

meaning the preaparatory work has to be done without mantra as one does for Darsapoornamasa with mantras.

Where do we get the rules regarding Darsapoornamasa.

You may get it from Baudhayana Srauta Sutras. Darsha Purnamasa, Pashu Yagas and Soma Yagas like Agnishtoma are explained there.
