HDICT Dictionary Reader App

Dear friends,

I had earlier intimated about the  HDICT dictionary reader app for Apple App Store users. Now it is available for Android users and Linux computers.

New Features:

1. Supports Mdict and Slob file formats, over and above StarDict and Dictd formats.

2. Allows selection of dictionaries based on source and destination language.

3. Allows import of folders containing already downloaded dictioanries.

4. Search as You Type. On the fly results.

5. Suggestions for headwords based on your typed letters.

6. List Mode to just see the headwords matching your query. Accordion expands when you click on it to see definition.

7. Customizable UI.

धन्या वयम् । I have downloaded Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/in/app/hdict/id6759493062.

I tested the word मूर्छना  on शब्दार्थकौस्तुभ  (hdict) and got the correct information - with references from माघ and साहित्यदर्पणम् under विस्तारः --

here it should be विस्तरः not विस्तारः --

’प्रथने वावशब्दे’ पा 3-3-33 घञ् - पटस्य विस्तारः -- शब्दविषये तु - ग्रन्थविस्तरः (we come across - ग्रन्थविस्तरभीत्या विरम्यते) - वि स्तृ अप् - विस्तरः -’ॠदोरप्’ पा 3-3-57 .
