Dear Buddh Dev Ghosh,

The article is written either out of ignorance of this young  Assistant Professor of English based in Oman or out of a conscious conspiracy by consciously hiding the facts already known to the author , under the continuous mentorship (thanked in https://www.linkedin.com/posts/sayan-dey-ph-d-a91b967a_publichumanities-indianknowledgesystems-pluralities-activity-7460949536849539074-7DMN/) of  Prof. Jeffrey Wilson, currently based at the Harvard Law School Writing Center, and is the co-founder and co-chief editor of the journal "Public Humanities" (published by Cambridge University Press) in which the article is published. Dr Sayan Dey hosted a conversation with his mentor on the 15th, May, i.e., yesterday.
NEP 2020 document, on page 16, under section 4.27, clearly includes tribal knowledge systems and other indigenous knowledge systems under Indian Knowledge Systems. The document has a separate category called Sanskrit Knowledge Systems and discusses it differently on different occasions in the document.

4.27 on page 16 has this : " Indian Knowledge Systems, including tribal knowledge and indigenous and traditional ways of learning, will be covered and included in mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, yoga, architecture, medicine, agriculture, engineering, linguistics, literature, sports, games, as well as in governance, polity, conservation. Specific courses in tribal ethno-medicinal practices, forest management, traditional (organic) crop cultivation, natural farming, etc. will also be made available." ( highlighting mine)

Not just these words in the document, even in execution, the IKS division under the Ministry of Education of Government of India has been providing grants for research projects on all such non Vedic non Sanskrit rural and tribal living knowledge traditions and their practices in a significant proportion along side the projects related to Sanskrit and other Indian language articulated knowledge systems.

So, approach of IKS is already highly pluralist and to bring a caste angle into this topic where that is totally irrelevant is not just gross misrepresentation and misleading to the audience ignorant about the details of how IKS work is happening, but can reasonably be suspected to be a conspiracy born out of the rattling in the anti national circles generated by the enormous traction received by IKS activities and the astounding success of those activities.

I just had a look at your responses on Linkedin , dear Buddhadev ji. Wonderful.

Your responses :
The whole idea is assumed based upon the singular idea of IKS, which is completely bogus. IKS stands for Indian Knowledge Systems, not a single one. It promotes the Vedic as well as the Tribal, Indigenous, and other knowledge systems rooted in this land, not in foreign soil. And obviously, the flow of knowledge which has not been cut till date, or even if interrupted, has been revived and carried forward by the people of this land — that is the essence of the whole traditional rootedness. So, this article is based on preconceived notions and half-digested knowledge about the actual concept of IKS.

🤣 Lol!

Good for those who want to stay afloat in discussion without having true academic rigour in their own work.
Nice to see those biased, unethical, opinion-based so-called 'research' projects get a place in serious academia.

Suggestion (you may ignore!): come to India as seekers, stay with experts in these fields, without projecting yourselves as one of them.

BTW I just remembered-
Andhena Nīyamānā Yathāndhāh
(If you know, you know!)😊🙏
