Namaste
The Mahābhārata is full of names we remember and many more we forget.
Adṛsya: Hidden Marvels of the Mahābhārata is an anthology that steps into that forgotten space. Curated and edited by Aditi Banerjee, it brings together 15 writers who chose to turn their gaze toward the quiet figures of the epic.
Characters who rarely speak. Sometimes barely appear. But still carry weight.
You're warmly invited to the global online launch of Adṛsya. This isn’t just a book release. It’s a gathering for those who listen closely, who sit with silence, and who believe that meaning often lives at the margins.

The characters explored in Adṛsya are those the Mahābhārata often leaves in the background — Duhshala, Balaram, Shakuni, Barbareek, Ambalika, Madri, Vikarna, Pandu, Shalya, Janaka, Sulabha, Subhadra, Bhanumati, and Malaydwaja. Each story reimagines these figures with care and nuance, offering them space to speak.
The voices in Adṛsya come from across disciplines and geographies. These include lawyers, engineers, scientists, poets, journalists, and seekers. The contributors are Pranshu B Saxena, Ramanjaneya Sharaph, Madhavi Girish Kunte, Neena Mukherjee, Shambhavi Tripathi, S. Anuradha, Shantheri Mallaya, Shivakumar GV, Sumathi Sridhar, Rajesh Ramachander, Raghu Ram Sola, Sri Charan Bottu, Kavitha Sankaranarayanan, Paras Artwani, and Ananya Ganesh.
