Manipal University Press (MUP) is organising Straight from the Horse’s Mouth – ‘Author meets Readers’ on April 19, 2011. Prof (Dr) Shrinivasa Varakhedi, the author of the book, The Path of Proofs – Pramanapaddhati of Sri Jayatirtha interact with readers, and explain the intricacies and nuances of the epistemology of Dvaita Philosophy. This book released in November 2011 received good responses from the readers as well as from The Hindu. He will explain the ideology and contributions of Madhva philosophy to the field of philosophical sciences with a modern worldview.

 

On the same occasion of Sri Ramanavami , MUP also releases the book, The Ramayana of Valmiki - A condensed version of critical edition of Valmikiramayana, authored by Prof M R Parameswaran, Canada.
