This wonderful book is available in rich libraries like BORI or Oriental Institute,Baroda,Mumbai Uni., Pune Uni. etc.from where he collected MSD material.

Pl. try to contact those authorities,as it may not be available for sale since it was published some 20/30 years back.

Best luck in your search.

Dr. K. Paramesvara Aithal (note “h”) was a member of the Adyar Library staff around 1969. Then he spent many years as a (well-appreciated) lecturer at the University of Heidelberg. I had heard that subsequent to his retirement, he returned to his native place in Karnataka, probably near Udupi. The following volume, published in 2001, consists of papers read at a conference organized at Heidelberg to felicitate him on the occasion of his retirement:  The Pandit. Traditional Sanskrit Scholarship in India. Festschrift Parameshvara Aithal. (ed) Michaels, Axel. New Delhi: Manohar. South Asian Studies series.

I would be (sadly)surprised if the Adyar Library and Research Centre or the GOML in Chennai  does not have a copy of the careful compilation in which you are interested.

The book is still available for sale. Probably you did not find it because the spelling of the title is Veda-Laksana rather than Veda Lakshana (no "h" in Laksana). It was reprinted by Motilal Banarsidass in 1993. I could not access their website right now, but it is listed at Amazon.India:

Ganesh-ji,

Motilal Banarsidass at their Bengaluru location had a few copies of this book till a few years back. I forget now, but I think that's where I got my copy.

Our library has this, it’s a 700+ page book. Do you know what you need from there?
