तद्धिताः।४।१।७६॥

तेभ्यो हितास्तद्धिताः। तदित्यनेन लौकिका वैदिकाश्च शब्दाः प्रत्यवमृश्यन्ते; तेषां व्युत्पाद्यत्वेन प्रकृतत्वात् तेन तत्रैव भवन्त्यणादयो यत्र च भवन्तस्तेषामुपकारिणो भवन्ति, नान्यत्रेति।

तस्मै हितम्।५।१।५।

"तस्मै हितम्।" अस्मिन्नर्थे चतुर्थ्यन्ताद्यथाविहितं प्रत्ययाः स्युः। वत्सीय इति। छे रूपम्। यो गोधुग्वत्सेभ्यः पयः शिष्ट्वा दोग्धि स एवमुच्यते।
