Dear friends,

I wanted to report about our efforts in hosting "Panini as a Scientist" panel.

Gerard Huet from Paris will be the fourth panelist besides me, Dr BVK Shastry,

Professor Subrahmnayam Korada.  The following will be our discussion:

Bijoy Misra - Panini's cosmology in mapping the universe in speech

BVK Shastry - Vak-Yoga, the science of pronunciation

Subrahmanyam Korada - the theory of varna

Gerard Huet - Panini as an information scientist.
