The India Centre, FLAME University is delighted to share that we will be hosting 2 webinars featuring eminent scholars from Ghent University, Belgium.

Prof. Eva De Clercq, Associate Professor at Ghent University, teaches a range of courses covering Sanskrit and Prakrit languages. Her primary research focuses on the Jain adaptations of Indian epics. She will be speaking on Jain Mahabharatas.

Prof. Tine Vekemans holds the prestigious Ācārya Mahāprajña Chair for Jain Studies at Ghent University in Belgium. Her scholarly pursuits focus on contemporary Jainism and its daily manifestations beyond the boundaries of South Asia. Her talk is titled, O Maharaj! Take these lemons – Jains and Jainism in the Western Indian Ocean.
