Anything wrong with archive.org?

Dear Scholars,

     Namaste.

     Recently I frequently come across the difficulty of the type "Unconfirmed 430038.crdownload" when downloading even very old files.

     For example, I tried twice to download the following file, but I could not succeed.

     Have heard that downloading files from Archive is best done using the wget command in the Windows Command line. For this, you need to download wget from here - https://eternallybored.org/misc/wget/, as referenced from the GNU page - https://www.gnu.org/software/wget/. Need to place the downloaded executable file  wget.exe in the Windows/System32 folder so that it gets referenced from anywhere on your Windows computer. 

   Then the link of the PDF from Archive, is to be taken by right-clicking on the PDF link and choosing "Copy Link address". Then a Command Prompt is to be opened on Windows and this command "wget https://archive.org/download/dli.nsp11/dli.nsp11_6F2007_726.pdf". This will ENSURE that the file gets downloaded irrespective of interruptions in the internet connection. I am able to download the same book using this wget command. Hope this works well for you. This command works for download from any site on the Internet.

I also face a similar error. However, if you are using chrome then you
have to just click resume download and the download will complete. For
50% of files I download from archive, almost at the end of the
download it fails saying "Network Error." When I resume it, it
finishes the download.

Another option, besides wget, is to use a download manager like "Free
Download Manager." You have to just copy-paste the download like into
the FDM and hit downlaod. I use FDM to download multiple files from
archive. I collect download urls in a text file and then ask FDM to
get download urls from text file and it does the job.

Today I tried again to download the same file and it was a success without any problem.
