Regarding benefits of reciting sanskrit texts

I humbly seek your guidance on the following points:

1. Are there references in the Vedic scriptures that specifically highlight the glories of proper Sanskrit pronunciation, especially in connection with Smṛti verses recited with correct intonation and clarity?

2. Is there any scriptural evidence that chanting Vedic texts with accurate pronunciation leads to the purification of the mind and consciousness?

3. What benefits are described—both in the light of Vedic scriptures and modern scientific research—regarding the chanting of Sanskrit verses, whether Vedic or non-Vedic?

It is my humble request to kindly shed light on these aspects with references wherever possible.
