Marathi translation of Mahabhashya

Namo vah,

I have archive links to five out of seven parts of the complete Marathi translation of the Mahabhashya.

Does anybody know if parts 2 and 6 are available online? Thanks in advance.

Dear Nityananda Ji,

     Glad to be of help to you and others.  I bought the whole set of 8 volumes when I was studying Mahabhashya for my M.A. classes at the Pune University in 1966-68, and brought it with me on my ship when I traveled to USA in 1968.  I never met Vasudeva Shastri in person, but I used to frequently visit his son Mahamahopadhyaya Kashinath Shastri Abhyankar to consult with him on my difficulties in reading the Mahabhashya.

I was not aware there were eight volumes? What is the eighth and final volume on?

You are right.  There are only 7 volumes.  My mistake.  The Prastāvanā volume is mostly written by Kashinath Shastri, with only some portions being written by Vasudeva Shastri.  Kashinath Shastri with Jayadev Mohanlal Shukla had started an English translation of the Mahabhāṣya.  From the title page of the first volume, which contains the first two Āhnikas, it appears that he intended to translate the first 9 Āhnikas.  However, I have not seen anything beyond these first two Āhnikas.
